My good friend and I are very craving about the fine course right now. Wow! When we visited a new-modern restaurant, Marco Creative Cuisine, captures my heart to see the colourful jellyfishes before we enter the restaurant. Besides that, the environment is quite elegant, ambiance, cozy and white themed which make the bright and comfortable atmosphere. It leads us to step into the luxurious Western interior design of the environment and give us a warm feeling to make us feel comfortable for dining in the romantic environment. As we are curious to explore about the Journey of Flavours that Chef Daren have prepare the special meals for us. My good friend and I love this place due to the high standard decoration and environment is quite attractive. Even multicourse is awesome and mystery.
What an amazing and interesting story about Chef Daren. He has contributed to put his creative idea, skills and knowledge to prepare the dishes thoughtfully and each dishes represents a culmination of Daren's own personal journey with food. He is co-founder of Miam Miam and Franco, the popular French-Japanese restaurant and he has been featured on TV, magazines and major local newspapers. He presents his culinary style for every course of the experiential Journey of Flavours in the menu of his latest venture, Marco Creative Cuisine currently.
"I was fascinated by how memory and personal experiences influence the way we taste food. That was how a multicourse meal, with its avenue for variety, became the key concept behind our menu. A meal is an experience and a journey of discovery in flavours, much like how our different experiences make up our own personal journeys", says Daren
In The Journey of Flavours, the Palate Cleanser (Velvety Matcha-Lime Shooter) will be served for us to taste it in order to wake us up, neutralize our taste and ready to eat for the next meals. When taste it, it has absorbed into my mouth with the sourness and foam and and covers a chilled Lime Snow. Quite nice to taste the sourness awhile.
For Strawberry Gazpacho, it is a chilled cold soup of strawberries garnished with dehydrated strawberries and microgreens. When I taste it, a cold melt and sourness absorbed in my mouth. It is quite special due to the combination taste ever I have tried out! It is my first time to taste it since I never eat the Cold Strawberry soup before.
Or you can try tasty soup, French Onion Soup serve with French Toast. Obviously, I love it so much. Well, it has a cheese, sweetness and onion flavour which brings out its savoury and aroma. Dip the toast into the soup and the onion will be absorbed into the toast so delicious! Taste good! It has cooked for 5 hours. That's why it has sweetness savory, fragrant and a plenty of caramelized onions. It is one of the signature Soup.
In addition, Truffled Mushroom Soup is a plant based creamy infused with Truffle Oil. It has a creamy and has a mushroom flavour. Thus it is quite nice. If you love mushroom soup. Just choose it and try it out.
Meanwhile my Savoury Ice Cream Salad. It sounds interesting. So I try to taste this special salad. It has assorted baby leaves, heirloom tomato, seasonal microgreens and violet flowers served with savoury Ice Cream.
When it served, I surprise to see the decoration of Salad is quite rare especially ice cream made from milk and sea salt. As I never see it before. So it is my first time to bite the special Ice Cream Salad. Once I bite it, it is quite good and has sweet and salt of combination. Anyways, it is a healthy meals.
Chicken Liver Parfait is a creamy chicken liver covered with a brulee top served with Toasted Bread and Apple Chips. First time I try to eat this chicken liver. It has an unique taste and has a good combination when the chicken liver toasted with the bread and chips. Really amazing when taste the unique combination that we really never expect. It tastes good!
For Main course, there is 6 types of choice such as Chicken Roulade with Brussels Sprouts, Duck Breast with Orange Puree and Roasted Beetroot, Salmon With Jet Black Hollandaise, Squid Ink Japonica Rice, Pomodoro Cream Seafood Pasta and Vegetarian Arrabbiata. By the way, I love chicken.
I decided to pick the Chicken Roulade with Brussels Sprout as my main course. It is a roulade of juicy chicken thigh with crunchy Brussels Sprouts and flavourful Chicken Jus. When I bite this chicken, it has a softness of its brussels, juicy and brings out the savoury and flavoured. Taste good. Water mouthing!
Another Main Course is the signature dish, Duck Breast with Orange Puree and Roasted Beetroot. I amazed when see the creative decoration and varitation especially Duck Breast has decorated with Naval Orange and 66% Dark Chocolate sauce on the plate. When I try to eat this, the duck breast is half cooked but it makes me curious about the taste. It has mixed flavour such as sour, bitter and sweet. So it is quite unique taste to explore.
Salmon with Jet Black Hollandaise. Altantic Salmon with Squid Ink Hollandaise garnished with Pickled Beetroot and Green Chile Pesto. All the ingredients and sauce on the plate has decorated very nicely and beautifully. Love this creative decoration. Very crunchy once bite it slowly.
Lastly, dessert has been served for us. It would not complete the course without Dessert. My good friends and I choose different dessert to explore the taste of its dessert.
Wow! I have amazed with my unique dessert, Raspberry Decadence. It is Luscious Raspberry Cheesecake with Raspberry Gel served with Lemon Meringue Shards and Passion Fruit Gel. It has different flavour fruits. Once I taste it, Wow, It taste a strong sour and sweet combination. Are you curious? Come to try it out!

Lastly, the drinks will be served after the dessert. There is 3 types of beverages for the menu. It is Single Origin, French Press Coffee or Loose Leaves Tea or Sparkling Iced Berry. Wow, I drink it till the stomach almost burst. Very Full.
Overall, we have a fantastic time to experience the Journey of Flavours at the cozy and ambiance environment in Marco Creative Cuisine. If you love to dine in the romantic restaurant, you just bring your loved one to pay a visit and you will be impressed with a culinary journey in Marco Creative Cuisine.
