My friends and I meet Sr Martina again before she went to her hometown!

What a lovely Saturday morning on Aug 8. Wow! 8 Aug was a beautiful number. Unexpected to choose the beautiful date. My good friends and I booked that date so that we wanted to spend time with a special friend who was Sr Martina. So we date with her for a special Saturday. Graceful to Sr Martina who was willing to spend time with us that day. Anyways, we were going to have breakfast at Damansara Jaya. So we saw the cafe which named Second Sunday Cafe. So we decided to eat a bit there first because some of us felt hungry.

By the way, we just ordered our own cup and shared a meal because we would have lunch with my other good friend later. After we discussed about what we wanted to eat and drink, we need to go to the counter to order our drinks/meals and make a payment. Then take our number on the unique wood ladle and wait for our food to be served. It was semi self service. A bit different from other cafe.

We took our time to chat with Sr Martina while enjoyed to eat and drink together. We had fun together. First time we came to Second Sunday Cafe. It was a simple and normal cafe and there was not so many decoration as well. However it surprised us that many customers came to this cafe at the morning. Most of them was the teenagers and young adults customers. In my opinion, they might like this cafe because the place gave them the calm feeling or the foods might be delicious for them. Around this cafe, there was not many cafe and less competition.

Strong Coffee!

What a funny thing. When the first drink served which was espresso priced RM.5.00. It make us surprised with a cute mini cup. Especially Sr Martina herself shocked when got its own drink. Firstly, we thought that it was not enough drink but it was not correct at all as what we expected earlier. Haha. Actually Espresso had its own smell and strong caffeine. So that why it was mini cute cup. Those people were not COFFEE lovers, maybe they couldn't sleep for whole day. It could make them awake and feel strong spirit after drank it. It advised to NOT drink it. Otherwise it was suitable for those people who really love coffee then could drink it. Enjoy the smell of the coffee. Worth to drink!

Number Five, Pancake Sandwich - RM 18 only

Finally, our meal served reached at our table. So we shared to eat the meal. Quite not bad at all. Number Five was the meal name priced RM18.00. It was mixed vegetables with pineapple and salad and potato added also.

There are 4 different beverages; Coffee, Chocolate, Hot English Breakfast tea, and Ice Peach Tea

The beverages just was Chocolate priced RM10.00, English Breakfast Tea priced RM7.00 and Iced peach tea priced RM7.00 served for us well. By the way, I did not eat it so much. My friend ate it because she was very hungry. Once we finished our drinks and meals and we walk to Atria Shopping Gallery while waiting for my other friend came. After we enter the entrance of Atria Shopping Gallery, My cute friend was over excited when saw Doraemon exhibition fair held there. Anyways, I unexpected to see Doraemon exhibition again but this time it just small exhibition. We grabbed our chance to take photo with a special friend, Sr Martina. Thank you to her who was willing to take photo with us as the sweet memories. That all only that we visited Doraemon exhibition in Atria Shopping Gallery. On Sunday night last month [July] ago, my friends and I visited Atria Shopping Gallery at Damansara Jaya, Petaling Jaya. Atria had been there over the past decades. I recall back that I was young, I always saw "Atria" on the shopping mall when I passed by that place but I never visit it before. That time the building was old and not attractive place. Till it turned into the stylish shopping now already. Really drastic changes on Atria Shopping Mall. According my friend's experience, Atria shopping mall changed a lot and much better if compare with the previous one. Wow! I surprised when saw new building which was Atria Shopping Gallery. It combined with two blocks of 16 storey towers above the retail floors. The towers contain 392 units of small office suites known as Atria SOFO Suites. It was still be developed right now. By the way, we discussed to make a surprise for our friend's birthday in advance via Whatapps before. So that why we came to Atria Shopping Gallery. At the same time, we explored Atria Shopping Gallery. There was more shop and restaurant that had been opened already. The decoration of the mall was quite nice and awesome. By the way, my friends and I discussed something via instant messaging earlier. Our purpose is to make a surprise birthday for our friends, James. So that why we came here. Anyways, my deaf friends and I were looking for the restaurant while we waited for other friends. After a while, it was great to meet my friends.

By the way, we let James make his decision to choose which the restaurant because of her special birthday in advance. Finally, he chose Pho Vietz restaurant, Vietnamese cuisine. There was a lot of people queue up at the restaurant. Just take few minutes later, we managed to get the table to dine in and of course we took a glance at the menu. I never eat Vietnamese cuisine before. So I asked my good friends which the foods should be suggested to eat. Of course, I would like to say thank you to my friends for the suggestions and Sr Martina who tried her best to help us to order the foods for us.

2 hot pots - spicy seafood and sweet bitter fish with 2 rices

Wow! The meals served and the smell come out from the food which was quite nice and make us drooling. My friend, Suyin and her husband ordered their meals set. They had spicy soup in the hot pot and caramelized fish with black pepper with per rice but they add extra rice. It supposed for per person but it was suitable and can fit for two persons and enough to eat at all. Just need to add extra rice. When I tried to drink a little of soup, it did not very spicy but just had sweet and sour mix together. It was nice to eat. At the same time all of us tried to eat this meals. Quite like it!

Pork Meat with Vegetable and Rice Set

Other meals which was pork hot pot with vegetables and rice set. The crunchy pork meat filled with the special sauce was really soft when bite. Delicious after eating. Should gave a try!

Lemongrass Chicken Noodles

Besides that, chicken noodles in the big bowl had been served after these two meals as what I said earlier. The noodle was fresh and chicken was so crunchy and crispy when bite on it! Vegetable added a bit into the noodle as well.

Vietnamese Popiah - 5 to 7 people

My good friend, Kim and I chose the meal set which was Vietnamese Popiah. We shared to eat it together. This dishes could be enough for 5 to 7 people. This dishes has different portion of foods that we need to wrap it with Vietnamese popiah. The popiah was hard and transparent. Firstly, we need to put little water on the transparent so that it would be soft and put these foods on its own popiah. The portion of foods was noodle, crunchy chicken, fresh vegetables and two sauces to dip on the popiah which was mix together. Very delicious!

Curry Beef Noodles

By the way, the curry beef noodles was served again. So all of us tried to eat it. I could not eat beef because it was not my favorite. However, I tried to eat little, just the noodle and soup. The soup was not very spicy as what i thought and expected.

During the dinner, we had a great time to chat chit for sure. A lot of topic to talk and had fun together. Once we finished our meals, we wanted to pay the bill however the manager of the restaurant informed us that our bill had paid by a Samaritan. What a big surprise! 

We shocked after knew about it. Really unexpected about it. We did not know who was the good Samaritan and he leaved at the restaurant earlier. We did not have a chance to say thank you to that person in real. The manager told us that person who was a regular customer always dine in the restaurant often. So we asked the manager to thank to the person for our behalf when that person came again. By the way, we took photo with the manager together as sweet memories. Thank you to the manager who took his time to inform us about it and took photo with us as well.

We say, "I love you!" Thank you!

Despite, we could not meet the generous and kind Samaritan in real however I wanted to write here because my friends and I would like to thank you so much to the generous person for the treat at Pho Vietz Restaurant at Atria Shopping Gallery Mall in Damansara Jaya on 12th July 2015, 7pm. After my work, my good friend, Selina and I went to Kota Damansara. I could not wait to eat my favorite food. Guess what? I was going to eat steamboat buffet with my good friend. Unexpectedly, my wishes become true! Before this, we talked and teased about steamboat topic. Firstly, I wanted to eat steamboat but never expect that it really happened. Selina Wing mentioned that Ensogo Malaysia want to invite me and her too! She suggested that my family better to buy Ensogo voucher for Buffet BBQ Bobogo Steamboat on next time. Anyways, thanks to my friend, Selina Wing because I joined her for having a wonderful dinner. I felt hungry this time! Craving steamboat? Want to give a try at the steamboat restaurant which provides steamboat buffet? This steamboat restaurant which named BOBOGO Steamboat located at Kota Damansara.


First time we came to the Bobogo Steamboat restaurant. It gave me an impression that the environment was clean and everything was arranged properly on the shelves. Other than that, we felt cool because of air-conditioned room provided by Bobogo Steamboat since I went to many steamboat restaurant before. Normally, most of these restaurant just provided non air-conditioned room. This restaurant has an unique steamboat pot. That's why it attracted many people who curious about the special steamboat pot.

Honestly, we shocked to see an unique pot. Especially the owner of Bobogo Steamboat welcomed us with his warm greeting. He was humble boss who explained us about the special steamboat pot and how using it properly. We learned from that boss. Curious what was the special pot? It was a three-tier pot. The first tier used to steam. The second tier used to put the foods which ready to eat. While the third used to grill/BBQ and the last tier used to cook with the Clear and Tom Yam soup. These foods was pork free.

The steamboat for lunch price was RM 28 per adult, RM16.80(Child aged 7 to 12) and RM19.80 senior citizen and kids eat for free(below 6 years old. The steamboat for dinner price was RM 38.80 per adult, RM19.80(Child aged 7 to 12) and RM26.80 senior citizen. Free charges for kid who aged below 6. Since it was halal restaurant, you can bring Muslim friends to dine in and enjoy to eat steamboat buffet. This restaurant won't charges any service or GST and provided free WIFI. I am sure that you guys would like it so much.




As you know that buffet means that we can pick any foods as we want and like. So there was more than 100 types of steamboat ingredients of our choice. There was seafood and raw meals provided such as fish. prawn. crab, lamb, beef and more. It could be used for steam, grill or cook. The BBQ token used if want to cook seafood or raw foods and gave it to the staff who prepared to cook for us at the small stall. We love to eat different seafood and we grill and steam it in few minutes only. Wow! The boss asked us to take more foods and eat more. He was really humble person ever I meet. He was really concerned and tried his best to satisfied the customer's needs.






Besides that, started to anxious if eat too much meats? Do not worry! There still got other healthy foods which various of vegetables, mushroom, tofu and many more. Various of mee had been provided on the shelves. Just choose anything as we like. This time we enjoy to eat so much till satisfied and very full.



There was few choice of beverage at the counter. We just went to take it on our own as it was self service.


For those people who like to add the sauce, there was a shelf which provided different sauce. Wow! My friend like to taste different sauce.


For those people want to eat the dessert, there was ice cream and Icy Moonster. Wonder what was Icy Moonster? It was an ice sherbet contained the fruits with ice blended. Got different fruits of ice blended and ice cream can be obtained from the fridge.


There was a chocolate fountain; 3 tiers pot which was filled with chocolate. The stick filled with sweet candy or others and put it in chocolate tiers put to cover with chocolate.




By the way, we enjoyed to use the special steamboat pot and eat the ready foods at the same time. We chat chit and did not rush to eat so much. Just eat slowly and relieved our stomach.



We would eat the last dessert which was ice cream and ice blended after eat it at all. We like the fruit with ice blended and we ate it few times.
