Wow! I never expected that I had selected to be the winner of the contest. I won ZTE Blade V7 Lite, latest smartphone which I participated in the Lazada Affiliate Contest by Lazada Malaysia. Of course, I told my family and good friends about this. They shocked, then they asked me twice time. Were you serious? I answered YES, I won! So I excited to explore about this new smartphone, ZTE Blade V7 Lite. I figured out that this smartphone was totally different from my smartphone due to its own perfomance and function. So that's why I enjoyed to explore about this smartphone as I was very curious.

Throwback! My good friends and I had a great and wonderful time. Guess what? There was a special event where we love to explore about it! It was one of the precious time and memories ever we experienced. Thank you for the lovely event which had organized by NIVEA.



The event was Nikea Empower Run 2016. We were extremely exciting to participate it. It got overwhelming support and response from the public. So it was a successfully event to attract many runners especially ladies. Clap Clap to NIVEA! Estimated over 2000 participants joined for Nikea Empower Run. The event held at Setia City Mall, Oval Field on 5 June 2016.


The objectives of Nikea to organized this event was truly inspiring us and gave a motivation to ladies especially everyone. The spirit of empowering women encouarged everyone had a chance to participate in the special run. Anyways, we were very happy to got a Nivea box such as NIVEA t shirt, Running BIB, goods from Watsons, Nivea Pearl & Beauty Deodarant Spray especially TUTU skirt where it attracted our eyes.


As it would be provided to everyone after those runners registered this run! It encouraged everyone no matter guy or girls who ought to wear it to promote women empowerment. Tutu skirt indicated the women had a confidence in achieving anything in life with their own elegant style and boundaries. My good friends and I proud to be a part of this NIKEA Empower Run in order to help the poor and underserved women as the profits would be donated to a charity organization.



Wow! Once we arrived at Setia City Mall, there is a plenty of blue themed event that we love to see. Fall in love to see a blue sky with blue crowd in the beautiful environment. We grabbed our time to explore around the booth before the flag time start off. We grabbed our time to get the NIVEA Bio-Degradable balloon as it had given to all participants.






Meanwhile We figured out that there was so many photo booth that we could snap our sweet and amazing photos. Therefore, we grabbed our time to welfie together. Lovely photo! We love it so much. Thank you for giving us the sweet memories in the photo booth.




Meanwhile, we busy to take photo till satisfied ourselves. It was one of the best photo booth because there had different photo booth so that everyone included us enjoyed to take photo in order to get the precious and sweet memories. One more interesting thing was NIVEA Empower Run Insta Contest. No wonder, many of them busy to take the best photo to win the Best Photo for the contest. Till the flag time start off, everyone raise their hands with confidence and release the balloons into the sky. Wow!


We impressed and love to see the beautiful skies after all balloon flied away to the sky. Luckily, we managed to take photo on it. Very beautiful. It gave us a bright feeling and inspired us once the marathon began. Miss that sweet moment! So Sweet and enjoyable! Precious memories.



Once we enjoyed to run around Setia City Mall in the early morning as it makes us felt fresh and more motivate to run till completed the finish LINE. Wow!! So tiring however we enjoyed to explore the booths that we missed out!


Wow! We saw that the booth was really attracted a long queue up so long! Figured out that there was a few printer machine which printed the photo. So we grabbed it to get the photo. It was such a beautiful photo with NIVEA themed! So Cool. 





Even we uploaded it into our Instagram. Anyways, we love this event so much. Thanks NIVEA to make the event turned into a fantastic and enjoyable! We still got the upcoming marathon to join. Can't wait to count down! Curious what was the next marathon? Please Stay tuned.

Definitely, all of us know about Starbucks as it is famous franchises and have a lot of outlets around the world. Otherwise, I am really proud and delight to hear that Starbucks Malaysia opening the special store for Deaf People. I am grateful to Selina who is my good friend who invited me to attend the special event which has launched by Starbucks Coffee has an unique store, this outlet make "First Signing Store" located at Bangsar Village II which located at Kuala Lumpur. It is very meaningful and enjoyable event where it is getting overwhelm response among Deaf people who are coming to explore and witness the event especially a lot of Deaf Association of members and Deaf students, teachers and others who support Deaf Community Malaysia. Clap Clap! My friends and I are very happy to see them.

In addition, a hearing impaired Barista named Mohammad Aizad Bin Ariffin who has experience to work in Starbucks for 3 years and his dream is to be 1st Deaf Starbucks Shift Manager and his desire become true. “Since I joined Starbucks three years ago as a barista, my goal has been to become Starbucks Malaysia’s first Deaf store manager and after my recent promotion to shift manager,  I’m well on way to achieving this dream,” and “It’s an incredible feeling to share my journey and help develop other Deaf partners.”said Ariffin.

Throwback! What a wonderful day! Took a glimpse on my watch. Oh my dinner time! Hmmm... I was super hungry! So I was hunting the food with my friend after had a great time to chat chit which was really awesome because we had a lot of topic to talk. Such a great time. Really appreciated and to be thankful so much for spending time to be with me.


 Aww! It was a quite fun time especially we had looking for which was the restaurant that we should be dine in however we had no any idea and we decided to see around the place and choose the restaurant randomly. Till the restaurant was really caught our heart simultaneously. I asked my friend if we want to dine in that restaurant. Immediately, she nodded and agreed as what I said earlier. Due to we were very hungry already. It was a late dinner that moment.

Anyways, you guys started to curious and wonder what was the special restaurant? Where we would dine in there. I was a huge fan of hot pot. I was not too sure whether you had been there or not. Otherwise, I would love to share with you guys about it. It was Japanese hotpot which called as Shabu-Shabu. It was Jiro Shabu Restaurant .Well, It located at Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya.

Pork Shabu(RM26.90)

When we stepped into this restaurant, their environment was quite ambiance, cozy and clean. I felt that the service was pretty good. However, this space was not a big spacious but considered so okay. Sometimes some of you wonder what was shabu-shabu meaning? Well, it was a Japanese hotpot where the slice of meat cooked in the pot. Almost same method with the steamboat but only different was the ingredients and soup base where we can prefer to choose.

Chicken Shabu (RM24.90)

In the menu, there was a variety of shabu shabu, such as Chicken Shabu, Pork Shabu, Vegetable Shabu, Mushroom Shabu and many more. It depends on your choice! Even many different flavours of soup base which was Clear Kombu Dashi, Clear Chicken Soup, Miso Soup, Suki Dashi Soup,Kimchi Soup, Tom Yam Soup and many more. Like to eat it? So we excited to eat the shabu shabu at Jiro Shabu Restaurant on my first time. We chose our food; Chicken Shabu(RM24.90) and Pork Shabu(RM26.90)

No worries, we don't need to share the soup because each person has one personal pot and you can choose your favorite soup. We enjoyed to put the slice of pork and chicken meat and dip it into the small hotpot and wait for few seconds then it ready to cook perfectly and could eat it directly. Of course, I never forget to dip with the special sauce prepared by Jiro Shabu Restaurant . There was different sauce could be taken on the counter with self service. If you feel not enough, no worries. You can add the ala carte menu. In fact, a lot of choice in the menu however we cannot order a lot of meals since we feel full. At the same time, the raining was heavily so non-stop. Otherwise, we took our time to chat-chit because long time we, friends never meet each other always. So that's why my friend and I were very happy while we have a pleasant and delightful dinner together.

Overall, I was very pleased to dine in Jiro Shabu Restaurant and the price considered as reasonable and affordable. It was my first time to experience to dine in this restaurant and it was a enjoyable and memorable time with my friend. Thank you so much, my great friend. Otherwise, it is not easy and difficult to find which is the most delicious Bak Kut Teh in the restaurant. Thinking of Bak Kut Teh meals this moment!! Start to drooling and want to eat it right now! There is a popular restaurant provides the best Bak Kut Teh in Selayang area, just next to Kepong, KL. Heard about it before? Curious?


Let's going to explore this restaurant named "Grandpa Restaurant - Bak Kut Teh" which located at Taman Bidara, Selayang in Selangor. Ready to peek at this special restaurant! So exciting! Thank you, Mr and Mrs Teh, the owners of Bak Kut Teh restaurant who are both husband & wife and they are my uncle and aunt for the invitation.


When we stepped into this restaurant, there is many customer dine in after this Grandpa restaurant just open the business hour in late evening and night time. They come early to taste the delicious Bak Kut Teh! What is so special Bak Kut Teh which prepare by the owner of Grandpa Restaurant? Let's going to see inside this restaurant! Wow!! The environment is quite clean and simple. Unlike the cafe where it is beautiful interior design. This decoration just are normal however, it has BEST and savory Bak kut teh in Selayang area. Meanwhile we wait the meals which recommend by the waiter.


Wow! Something caught my eyes. It is hanging on the wall. Guess what? 8TV HO CHAK! 8TV HO CHAK! I believe that all of you should know what is that meaning! It indicates delicious! Well, this restaurant has been in 8TV HO CHAK starred by Rickman and Orange who is the host and popular Artist. Therefore it is one of the best Bak Kut Teh restaurant in the list. This restaurant is highly recommendation to try it out!


Wow! This restaurant has been operated for 20 years above already. According to the owner of this restaurant, many customers love to dine in this restaurant especially regular customers. Mostly, many customer like to eat several popular meals that prepared by this restaurant. Especially, one of the popular meals is Bak Kut Teh has a fragrance, aromatic and healthy because it uses good quality herbs for the ingredients to make the BEST Bak kut teh which is filled with the love by using Teochew style. Wow! My good friends and I felt be hungry!


We are very excited when Bak kut teh served to our table, the aroma of Bakuteh smell very nice and make me want to eat it immediately. Two types of Bak kut teh which is normal (RM10.00) and claypot special (RM10.50). According to the waiter, there is different types of pork can be choose into a claypot such as Spare Ribs, Pork Canilage, Fatty Ribs (only morning), Long Ribs, Tender Pork with Streaks of Fat, Crunchy, Pork's stomach, Pork's Feet, Underside of Picnic Shoulder, Short Ribs and Chitterlings (Pork's Intestines).

Anyways, my good friends are very surprised by my uncle who is very good at his Teochew style cooking, make us fall in love in this Bak Kut Teh because it has absorbed into the meat and when bite the meat, it is very crunchy and savoury, softness meat especially can smell the fragrance of Bak kut teh, as we can see clearly that the soup is not very thick and not dark soy so much but has a aromatic herb has absorbed into its soup. Make me love to taste the soup because I love soup so much. They love it too. Therefore, it is a MUST TRY to out! Come to experience and eat it! Very Delicious!


Besides that, other popular meal which is Claypot Curry Fish Head (RM-18.00-Small), RM24.00 (Medium), RM32.00 (Large). It is really caught our eyes because it has a special aroma and has absorb into the fish head with the vegetables. When bite it, make my mouth feel hot because of the hot and spicy but it is really delicious and savory of curry taste in the unique recipes. So it is one of the popular dishes that always be ordered by many customers! My friends surprise after eat it. They said Wow! Delicious! Feel like that they have dinner at the house for instance; handmade family cuisine and enjoy with the family in the warm and lively environment.


The feeling just awesome and wonderful! I believe that you will fall in love with Claypot Curry Fish Head. This meal is highly recommendation to try it out.


Other famous meal serves which is Preserved Vegatable (RM3.00) which contains salt vegetable. Firstly, it looks normal however it is really yummy when bite it. So that's why many customer love to choose it as their dishes for the order list.



I am happy when see this meal because I love it so much and definitely, I will eat it! Try it out if you really like Preserved vegetable. Just order this meal! It is very cheap only.





In addition, there is also serve which is Pork Leg/Pork Belly (Stew), RM16.00 (Large), RM10.00 (Small) is also popular in the menu! It contains pork with dark soy sauce however it has different aroma and the meat is very soft and easy to bite. Do not miss it out if you like this kind of cuisine! I surprise when see my good friends really enjoy it so much because they do not eat it so long. They keep to say Delicious! Hard to believe as what I say? Better you come to dine in this restaurant and experience it yourself. You will love it!



There is few various of side dishes such as Pepper soup with Pork's stomach (RM10.50), Chicken Feet (RM3.00), Tau Fu (Stew)RM3.00, Golden Mushroom (RM7.00), Char Gui (RM1.50) and Tau Fu Bao (RM3.00) if you want to add up. Otherwise, worry about getting fat? All is meat only.





No worries, there get few types of vegetables dishes which has served for you. It just price RM7.00 (Medium) or RM5.00 (Small). Lastly, we can't eat Bak kut teh without the important dishes which is White Rice (RM1.00-Large), (RM0.60-Small) or Flavoured Rice (RM1.20-Large), (RM0.70 Small) You can choose either these rice that you prefer!


I recall that I always come to this restaurant since I was young till now. I really love this Bak Kut Teh so much. Overall, we really enjoyed this Bak Kut Teh and various of popular dishes at Grandpa restaurant. Do not miss to try it out!
