PUMA Night Run 2017 @ Cyberjaya Malaysia

Yahooo!!! PUMA Night Run was back! Wow!! More than 10,000 runners was gathering so enjoyable. My good friend and I were very excited to explore PUMA's fourth installment of the PUMA Night Malaysia 2017. In addition, we were curious to experience what was the difference for the marathon event which organized by PUMA Night Run.


Of course, we love to run in order to balance our lifestyle. Well, PUMA Night Run held at different venue every year. This year, it was happening at Cyberjaya on August 5, 2017. Obviously, all of us could not wait to experience the live performance with amazing music on the stage in the biggest carnival which had been filled with different activities in the beautiful night time during PUMA Night Run.


Firstly, my good friend and I used to get there in the early time in order to getting rid of finding the limited parking space as usually. Anyways, I was grateful that we managed to find the parking space. This moment, I spotted that there was a lot of pink t shirt that runners wore while we wore our yellow t shirt. As PUMA Night Run Malaysia introduced two categories for runners could choose for their routes first time. Thus, there was over 6000 runners participated 6KM category meanwhile over 4000 runners took part in 12KM competitive category. As there was 2 different colour t shirt for 6KM and 12KM represented Yellow and Pink T shirt which was very easy to spot respectively.


Furthermore, there was a lot of booths and foodtruck surrounding us. Many of young people love to challenge for Ninja Warrior Challenge in order to win LED Wristband (Limited to first 3000) participants who complete the challenge.


Meanwhile those people wear PUMA shoes on the race day, they get the exclusive LED Shoelace (first come,first serve basis:limited to 2000 runners only. It lighted up the night with colorful Glow Sticks and LED especially the performance which was really attracted us to witness the amazing performance on the stage especially the local singer Black, National Cheerleading championship Cheer Aces, unique percussionists No Noise Percussion and one of the best known dance crews in Malaysia EleColdXhot.


Thus, they make everyone impressed to witness the wonderful Cheer dance so enjoyable. All of us really enjoyed to see their performance with the beautiful night time. Not only that, Emcees of the event, Kevin Chong and Melissa Th'ng able to make everyone had been entertained so enjoyable. Especially, a joyful environment so rapidly when Korean Star, Peter Lee Jae Yoon made a special appearance on the stage. We were very lucky to spot him who gave his friendly smile to us. He was very handsome in real person. So that's why most of ladies fall in love with him. Even they eagered to take photo on him so much! So funny! A wonderful fireworks display was very beautiful to be spotted by many runners who love to stay in the joyful and lively environment after the run.

We love to explore and walking surrounding a variety of the booths, foodtruck and stages. We were getting more excited to run with more than 10000 runners in the beautiful and colorful night. Wow, I was very surprised to see a beauitful full moon.



Once the time to be ready! Yahooo!! Ready for the run! At the starting line, first wave 12KM runners was flagged off by PUMA's General Manager of SEA, Philippe Le Bretton followed by the second wave of 6KM runners by South Korean actor, Peter Lee jae Yoon.


Wow! I noticed that many runners had a very energetic to run once the flagged off. So colorful during the run in the beautiful night time. By the way, my good friend and I lost energy and wanted to drink water at the water station. That time, we surprised when saw there was no water at the station anymore due the running out of water unexpectedly! Some volunteer kept to say to us that there was next water station would be provided. But we only got it when arrive at the finish line. Many runners queued up so long in order to get water at the water station. So messy! I figured out that many runners surprised about this issues. Thus, I observed that many of them unhappy because they did not get any water to drink and boost their energy. Honestly, I disappointed with this issues however I believe that PUMA Night Run would take a note on this issues and it needs to be improved so that next year it would not happened as what we experienced this year.

Absolutely, there was an attractive prize awaiting for all runners. Guess what? For the top 3 finishers of 12KM men and category received RM2500, RM2000 and RM1500 worth of PUMA vouchers respectively. Meanwhile winners of 6KM men and women categories received RM1000, RM750 and RM500 worth of PUMA vouchers respectively! Congratulations to all winners!
Overall, my good friend and I were truly enjoyed to experienced the awesome performance and run in the beautiful night under the full moon. I was always grateful to have a wonderful experience and obviously, my good friend and I always keep to encourage ourselves to run together, It was very great spirit and motivation. No matter the worst situation, we faced it together and successfully to complete the finish line. Finally we made it! Wow! The medal was very beautiful and we love it. Thank you PUMA Night Run 2017 make my day to be more great and awesome. Can't wait to see PUMA Night Run next year, 2018 again. #PUMAMY #NIGHTRUNMY
