Live.Run.Love in IMU Chariofare 2015 @ Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

Yahoo!! After three months, My good friends and I run for marathon again. Feeling fresh when we were running during the marathon. It was my 2nd time to join the marathon named IMU Chariofare 2015 at International Medical University(IMU) Bukit Jalil Campus. It was a charity run which orgainzed by IMU students. The aim was raising the funds to support for the less fortunate with the theme named "Live.Run.Love". This event contributed a truly support and donation for four beneficiaries such as Penang Hospice Society, Ti-Ratana Welfare Society, Rumah Victory and IMU Cares Disaster Fund.

It was a meaningful and memorable event that we could help people as can as possible. Therefore, we were very honored and delighted to participate this wonderful event despite we faced with the obstacle this moment. Guess what was the obstacle? We need to face with the haze however it did not stop us to run during the marathon.

Well, this marathon had 6 categories of running, which was 10km for male and female, 5km for male and female, a 3km Fun Run Category, and a Team Challenge Category. Each runners included us recieved IMU Chariofare T Shirt, a certificate of participation and a goodie bag. The Flag off was at 6:30 am. Surprised when we saw that not many runners gathered at the started line so we guessed that if they unable to make it because of haze weather but we might got wrongly. Anyways, there was still got many runners who joined this. What a funny thing. We thought that we were last runners after the marathon started. During the marathon, there was still many runners who was behind of us and late to run after the flag time off started. So funny when saw few of us run so faster. Anyways, most of the runners were teenagers and young adults.

We enjoyed to explore the scene which we never been run around the map route for 10KM. Only 3 KM that we explored new road and place if compare with last year. Recall about my first marathon which held at the same place last year. It was the most funny situation and still be fresh in my mind. It was my unforgettable memories. It was my first marathon to participate. Suddenly heavy rain before the marathon started. Many runners were looking for to hide at someplace however the alarm announced that the marathon started!

So that's why I still remember that we run hardly because of heavy rain but I managed to completed my first marathon for 7KM for IMU Chariofare 2014 first time. Wow! Some people gave us the support to completed at finished lane. This year my friends and I faced with the haze situation but we completed our marathon for 10KM. Clap Clap to us! Thank you for the support, my friends and strangers.

Once we reached at finished lane, we unexpected to get our medal, certificate and goodie bag. Why? Last year, we just got certificate and goodie bag. Wow! So many voucher in goodie bag.

 A carnival held at IMU campus nearby. There was a variety of stalls setup by IMU students and staffs. It was to entertain and satisfy many visitors and participants with the great performance, activities and food and beverages provided. Not only that, Dental screening, Medical Screening, traditional Chinese Medicine health checkups would also be available. Even health products had been sold as well. The situation was more glorious and awesome when lucky draw held on the stage which all people wish to get the amazing and mystery hampers and prizes. Even the great performance entertained many people included children. However, all the profits would be donated to four beneficiaries as what I mentioned earlier. IMU Chariofare 2015 really did very well for the meaningful event.

As the result, we enjoyed to run for keeping good healthy and exercise especially explored all the activities and performances at the carnival during the marathon event. Really enjoyable. I  would share with you all about the great quote which was " No matter whether you are first, middle or last during running but you can say "I HAVE FINISHED" and got a lot of satisfaction.
